Who We Are

I'm John Rocco, and I've been working mining claims since 1993. Started with a small placer claim along the Yuba River in California - paid $750 for it. That experience taught me everything: how to research geology, file with the BLM, work the ground, and figure out if a claim is actually worth the asking price.

Since then, I've staked over 50 claims across Arizona, Nevada, California, and Colorado. Some were winners, some weren't. But each one taught me something about what makes a claim valuable versus what's just expensive dirt.

What really pushed me to build MiningClaimSales.com was watching too many people get burned. Bad listings with fake locations. Overpriced claims in worked-out areas. Sellers making wild promises about "proven gold deposits" with zero documentation. I realized the mining claim market needed someone who actually knows the ground and treats each situation individually.

Our Experience

I've worked claims from the American River in California to Lynx Creek in Arizona, from Rich Hill to the Kern River. I've staked lode claims in Nevada's mining districts and placers along Colorado's Clear Creek. Some turned out great, others taught me expensive lessons. That's how you learn what actually matters when evaluating a claim.

I've spent countless hours in county recorder offices - Yavapai County, El Dorado County, countless others - digging through files and verifying legal descriptions. I've driven rutted mining roads to check boundary markers. I've talked with local BLM offices about claim status. This isn't theoretical knowledge - it's from actually doing the work.
